VisioDry Technology: how it works and why you need it

The principle of superhydrophobic technology
A superhydrophobic surface is a surface that strongly repels water. It is not just a smooth coating, but a combination of chemical effect and a very fine surface structure.
1. Droplets bead up
Water spreads less into a continuous film on the treated surface. Instead, droplets become more rounded and adhere less to the surface.
2. Easier water runoff
Due to lower adhesion, droplets move more easily across the surface. This helps maintain better visibility in rain or contact with water.
3. Clearer vision
When less water remains on the surface, fewer impurities carried by droplets stay on it as well. The result is a cleaner and more usable transparent surface.

The lotus effect
The development of superhydrophobic surfaces is inspired by nature — for example by lotus or nasturtium leaves. Their surface prevents water from forming a continuous layer and instead creates droplets that roll away easily.
This phenomenon is known as the lotus effect. As water droplets move across the surface, they may also help carry away small dust and dirt particles.

VisioDry
VisioDry is mainly used on the outside of transparent surfaces. It is designed to repel water, rain, wet snow and droplets on the surface. It is suitable for visors, glasses, goggles, protective glass, optics and other compatible transparent materials.
VisioFog
VisioFog solves the opposite problem — fogging. It is used where moisture condenses on the inside of the surface. When properly polished, it creates a continuous film that helps reduce fogging on visors, glasses or goggles.
